The collection of the Paladini Siciliane takes its cue from the Pupi (from the Latin pupus, i, which means baby boy) are the characteristic armed puppets of that popular epic theater which, probably coming from Don Quixote's Spain, operated in Naples and Rome, but above all, from first half of the nineteenth century, in Sicily, where it would have reached its maximum development .
