Cola Pesce is an ancient and fascinating legend from Sicilian folklore. It tells of a young man with extraordinary aquatic abilities, half man and half fish, who chose to live among the seabeds. According to tradition, Cola still supports one of the three columns that hold up Sicily today, to prevent it from sinking.
